Question Spear Flinging R/P? Could it work?

Ok, I am trying this build out and was wondering if anyone could tweak it for me.
It's a condition spreading build along with a fast attack speed.

Skills-
1)Apply Poison

2)Aggressive Refrain

3)Anthem of Flame

4)Slayers Spear

5)Barbed Spear

6)Soldiers Fury (Do this and Ag. Ref. stack? If no, what would be a good elite?) (Maybe Stunning Strike for Dazed?)

7)Troll Unguent

8)Rez

Divide up attribute points between-
Leadership
Wilderness Survival
Spear Mastry

Please dont flame me too bad. Just help me out.

Thanks,
Aga

Hi,

I generally run R/P atm. I have a pure Spear build in addition to several spear wielding pet builds.

I also like to use disrupting Accuracy with Prepared Shot and Go for the Eyes coupled with some support shouts.

I will try to post builds later.

All in all I like R/P.

Aggressive Refrain is Leadership and will only last 5 seconds with 0 lLeadership

Soldier's Fury will also only last 10 seconds as it is Leadership

I think you would be better off putting the Points from your non-existant Leadership attribute into Expertise and use IAS skills from there.

Either go for an expertise IAS or Tiger's Fury.

As for an elite, either Cruel Spear or Stunning Strike.

I've ran into some P/R in AB, but I never thought they were much of a threat. They can deal some decent straight damage, but they don't have the interupt capability of a primary ranger. While running a R/P should be workable, it's not one of the most efficient builds there is available. When NF had it's preview event, however, R/P were pretty powerful. However, this was before Tiger's Fury was nerfed.

There was a build called R/P Spearchuker a while ago. It went something like
13 Expertise
10(or so) Beast Mastery
12 Spear Mastery

[skill]Barbed Spear[/skill][skill]Spear of Lightning[/skill][skill]Blazing Spear[/skill][skill]Poisonous Bite[/skill][skill]Rampage as One[/skill][skill]Charm Animal[/skill][skill]Comfort Animal[/skill]Signet

Nice damage output, but no tools other than damage and conditions. You can get [skill]Disrupting Throw[/skill] instead of one of the attacks if you're gonna use it in pvp.

The build I mentioned does that with a whole lot more DPS. IF you *need* deep wound, take merciless.
And no you shouldn't use agg refrain AND Fury. They stack up to 33%.
